Professional Volunteering and Internships
Youth Science Organization provides professional volunteering opportunities to our members and works hard to locate them internships. Professional volunteering can help you reinforce skills, create new abilities and opportunities, and provide another place for you to enhance leadership skills. All of these experiences make you a more qualified and appealing candidate for your job career. An internship gives you firsthand experience, professional opportunities, and personal development. It will also increase your competitiveness when applying for jobs. As an intern, you will develop valuable skills to include on your resume. Internships and professional volunteer hours are excellent ways to impress colleges and are highly valued on resumes.
Monthly General Meetings
Youth Science Organization offers general meetings for our members where we discuss careers in various science disciplines, skills required for these occupations, science topics in today's society, internships and professional volunteering, training for math competitions (AMC, AIME, etc.) and general advise for our high/middle school members. These general meetings will be jam-packed with information and an excellent opportunity for members to obtain insight into what they should be working on to succeed.
Training and Learning
Interested in training for math competitions or learning new science topics?
Youth Science Organization offers detailed, well-made videos covering various STEM related topics. These videos are created with the goal of propelling a diverse range of careers in science and engineering, and are sure to give viewers a significant introduction to their desired careers.
